Snow Days!

A couple of weeks ago we had a big snowstorm :-) I was snowed in for about a day and a half. It was wonderful. I never get that much time off to just be at home!

Of course my poor husband had to drive to work in it. Fortunately he is an excellent driver on snow :-) We received about 8 inches of snow after it was all said and done.

 The snow falling was so beautiful! But a day and a half it was gone again. It was fun, but I think I am ready for Spring now :-)

Kayla's 3rd Birthday!

Happy 3rd Birthday Kayla! Here is the Tinkerbell cake I made for her. I finally got to use my new cake stand! It was a Christmas present from Kelly and the Marquez men  :-)

 

The top tier was Vanilla with sprinkles and the bottom tier was Chocolate.

David Stands Up For Arkansas

   Last week David's Healthcare bill was heard before the Public Health Committee. 

Here are a few pictures from the day. The room was filled to capacity (130) and they said that there were about 100 more outside the room.

Too Blessed to Be Stressed

Busy. That pretty much sums up my life right now. Sometimes I wonder if I can handle everything that is passed on to me. Then that wonderful verse pops into my head, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13. 

 I can do all things! It is such an empowering verse. Sort of like a pep talk from God. He keeps saying, "I'm right here behind you! You got this, just keep going!".



My God is so Wonderful :-)
